Fun Sleepover Ideas for Kids
It is bound to happen that your child will one day approach you and ask a you question, or a favor, about having some of their friends over for a sleepover. How will you respond? Will you see yourself going into kid-caterer mode, or as a babysitter for other parent’s kid’s, or as one of them playing along as the night passes12am as they struggle to keep their eyes open while watching an exterior TV?
Well, here are a few ideas that will help you plan a fun sleepover for your child, whether they are a boy or a girl. These ideas may not be remarkably original, but they are designed to jog your mind. You can discuss the activities of the sleepover with your child to plan a fun event.
1) Games – Gaming is something every kid does these days, so having a fun tournament with prizes for winners and runners-up will make for a fun night. To make it even more fun, turn on your waterproof TV on the patio and arrange the seating so everyone can watch and play!
2) Flashlight Tag – When was the last time kids actually played something like this? Bring them back to the good old days. This will give them lots of exercise and laughter, and wear them down some so they won’t keep you up late all night.
3) Movie under the stars – Buy the best outdoor TV available and set it up outside for a night of watching videos under the stars. Pop some corn and serve some sweets and sodas for a fun night.
There are so many more ideas for a fun sleepover for your child. Hopefully you can incorporate one of these into your plans.
